Abstract

ARCHANGELSKY, Ana  and  LLORENS, Magdalena. Palynology of the Kachaike Formation, Lower Cretaceous of the Austral Casin, Santa Cruz province. II. Spores. Ameghiniana [online]. 2005, vol.42, n.2, pp.311-328. ISSN 1851-8044.

Trilete apiculate, perisporate, tricrassati and dispersed monolete spores, as well as a cingulate spore, Foraminisporis asymmetricus (Cookson y Dettmann) Dettmann and a zonate spore, Triporoletes reticulatus (Pocock) Playford from the Kachaike Formation, Lower Cretaceous from Santa Cruz province are systematically described. Four new species: Baculatisporites kachaikensis Llorens y A. Archangelsky, Nodosisporites macrobaculatus A. Archangelsky y Llorens, Gleicheniidites serratus A. Archangelsky y Llorens and Crybelosporites australis A. Archangelsky y Llorens are described and one species, Pilosisporites verus Delcourt y Sprumont (1955) Llorens y A. Archangelsky is emended. Concavissimisporites verrucosus Delcourt y Sprumont and Nodosisporites crenimurus (Srivastava) Davies are mentioned for the first time for Argentina.
