We made the study in the northern Cuyo basin, between the provinces of San Juan and Mendoza. in the present work we show the results of gravimetric processing data from this basin and surrounding region. We applied anomaly-enhancement techniques such as analytic signal, tilt and phase of tilt. This allowed the observation of a marked gradient, which was interpreted as a lateral variation in lithology, which would coincides with the area of paleosuture of the proto-Andean margin, which separates in the Cuyania composite terrane the Precordillera from the Pie de Palo terranes.
