Adiantum peruvianum (Pteridaceae) and Serpocaulon polystichum (Polypodiaceae) are recorded for the first time for Argentina in this paper. These new records were collected during trips to La Caldera and Chicoana department in Salta province. The diagnostic characters are described and illustrated, a keys for identification of species and distribution map are provided.
