Abstract

GONZALEZ, Héctor A.; ARANA, Marcelo D; BRUSSA, Carlos A  and  MUNOZ, Fabián. Primer registro de Lycopodium clavatum (lycopodiaceae) para Uruguay. Darwiniana, nueva serie [online]. 2016, vol.4, n.2, pp.212-216. ISSN 0011-6793.

Lycopodium clavatum (Lycopodiaceae) is recorded for the first time for the Uruguayan flora, found in the departments of Durazno and Maldonado. This new record extends the distributional range of the species, establishing the localities from center and eastern Uruguay as the southern distributional limit of Lycopodium s. str. A diagnostic description, a distribution map in the country, as well as an illustration of the species and photographs of the habitat are provided.

Keywords : Lycophytes; Lycopodiidae; Lycopodium; Uruguay.
