Occurrence of the common barn-owl (Tyto alba) in the South Atlantic Ocean- Here we report the occurrence of the Common Barn-Owl (Tyto alba) in San Jorge Gulf, Argentine Sea. Although this species is widely distributed over Argentina, there is no evidence for its presence at sea. We discuss the possible causes of its presence there and their consequences.
