Abstract

Infantile cortical hyperostosis is an uncommon osteopathy, which is characterized by fever, irritability, swelling of soft tissues and cortical hyperostosis of the underlying bones. The disease usually occurs before the fifth month of life. The cause remains unknown. We report a 3-month old boy who was admitted because of swelling of right shoulder and mandible.
