Abstract

MARTINEZ GROS, Gabriel. El cristianismo y los cristianos vistos por el Islam hacia el año mil. Temas Mediev. [online]. 2007, vol.15. ISSN 0327-5094.

This article analyses the way in which during the Middle Ages Islamic thinkers considered Christians and Christianity at the height of the so called "classical" Islam.  For this purpose the author analyses Moslem prophesies referring to the Christian religion  which insist on an absence of both social and religious law among Christians, as well as the usual attitudes with regard  to Christians in general underlining either the admiration or disdain felt in connection with different situations in daily life.

Keywords : Islam; Christians; Opinions; Thought.
