The study of Visigothic topics, formerly rare and isolated, increased from the eighties onwards. The theses which were generally accepted up to that time had to be reviewed in view of new archeological findings, as well a due to the publication of new editions of sources. It is the purpose of the author of this article to offer specialists a survey of the latest problems under analysis in recent studies of certain historiographic areas, as well as to underline continuities and changes.
