We restrict the type locality of Ctenomys bicolor Miranda Ribeiro, 1914, to Rôndonia state (Brazil) within these coordinates: 11º 50' 10'' S and 12º 00' 00'' S, and 60º 51' 35'' W and 61º 19' 29'' W.

Keywords : Comisión Rondon; Localidad típica; Mato Grosso; Rondônia; Tuco-tuco bicolor.
