Eumops patagonicus has its eastern range limit in Misiones, Argentina. We report the extension of the easternmost range limit of E. patagonicus and describe the first record for this species from Santa Catarina, Southern Brazil. The individuals were captured in the northern coast of the state, in a Restinga ecosystem. Records described herein extend the species’ range 610 km east and are the first from the state of Santa Catarina and along the Brazilian coast.
