The Ionic ideological context has been considered a basic support of Solonian Elegy. This article explores the intertextual relationship between fr.3 D Eunomía by Solon and Odyssey. From the language shared by both texts, the absorption of epic formulas and again defined concepts it intends explain the admonitory role Solon acquires as expression of a heroic action on a political dimension.
