Abstract

ORTEGO, Jaime  and  MIER DURANTE, Milagros P.. Acyrthosiphon (A.) loti (Hemiptera: Aphididae) founded on Lucerne in Argentina. Rev. Soc. Entomol. Argent. [online]. 2003, vol.62, n.1-2, pp.32-34. ISSN 0373-5680.

Acyrthosiphon ( A. ) loti (Theobald) (Aphididae) has been found for the first time in Argentina and South America, on cultivate lucerne ( Medicago sativa L.) (Fabaceae). This is the seventh aphid species recorded in Argentina on lucerne. The peculiar characteristics of studied specimens are given. Modifications to a previous identification key are presented.
