Immature stages, and the male adult of Pinnaspis aspidistrae (Signoret) are described and illustrated for the first time. The host plants recorded in this paper were one species of Pteridophyta, and 12 of the Angiospermae. The natural enemies found are Aphytis hispanicus (Mercet) (Hymenoptera: Aphelinidae), Arrhenophagus chionaspidis Aurivillius (Hymenoptera: Encyrtidae) and Scymnus sp. (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae).
