Abstract

LOPEZ RUF, Mónica. A new species of the genus Ambrysus (Hemiptera: Naucoridae). Rev. Soc. Entomol. Argent. [online]. 2004, vol.63, n.1-2, pp.97-101. ISSN 0373-5680.

Ambrysus (Ambrysus) kolla sp. nov. is described and illustrated. The species belongs to the subgenus Ambrysus and it is compared to Ambrysus (Melloiella) truncaticollis De Carlo and Ambrysus (Ambrysus) fucatus Berg. The chorionic structure of the egg of Ambrysus (Ambrysus) kolla sp. nov. is described and photographs taken with SEM are added. The chorion is a taxonomic character which shows interespecific differences in the genus Ambrysus Stål.
