GRANARA DE WILLINK, María Cristina. A new species of Discococcus (Hemiptera: Pseudococcidae) from the Neotropical region. Rev. Soc. Entomol. Argent. [online]. 2004, vol.63, n.3-4, pp.79-86. ISSN 0373-5680.

Adult female and inmature stages of Discococcus huapi n. sp. are described and illustrated; it was found on Stipa speciosa Trinius et Ruprecht from Neuquén province; a key of the species of Discococcus Ferris is included; this genus is cited for the first time for the Neotropical Region.
