Adult of Huequenia livida (Germain, 1898) (Cerambycidae) were captured in a Pinus contorta Douglas ex Loudon var. murrayana (Balf.) Engelm. plantation located in Lago Puelo ( Chubut , Argentina ). This is the first mention of the development of H. livida on a host species different than Araucaria spp. This contribution also adds a new host species and family to the list of host plants described for this Cerambycidae in Chile .
