The worker of Myrmelachista gallicola Mayr is redescribed and mentioned for the first time for La Pampa province (Argentina). The material studied was integrated by workers and was collected on Prosopis caldenia Burkart (Fabaceae) at Santa Rosa, La Pampa within galls of Tetradiplosis sp. (Diptera: Cecidomyiidae).
