Abstract

TIZON, F. Rodrigo  and  QUIRAN, Estela M.. Ants (Hymenoptera: Formicidae) from Caldenal phytogeographic district, Argentina. Rev. Soc. Entomol. Argent. [online]. 2009, vol.68, n.3-4, pp.365-367. ISSN 0373-5680.

A list of ants from the Caldenal region (Espinal) is presented. Samples were taken in pitfall traps and manual collection, and data on the species found in the literature was added .The results were: total 63 species, 23 are new records. The species correspond to the subfamilies: Dolichoderinae (10), Ecitoninae (1), Formicinae (13), Myrmicinae (38) and Ponerinae (1).
