Abstract

SIRI, Augusto  and  DONATO, Mariano. Labrundinia separata: redescription of adults and description of immatures (Diptera: Chironomidae: Tanypodinae). Rev. Soc. Entomol. Argent. [online]. 2011, vol.70, n.1-2, pp.75-81. ISSN 0373-5680.

Adults male and female of Labrundinia separata (Edwards), and the immatures are described and illustrated. The studied specimens were collected as immatures in the Notophagus forest of northern Argentinean Patagonia, and reared to adult in laboratory. The species is compared with the most similar cogeners.
