Abstract

Amblyseius swirskii Athias-Henriot (Acari: Phytoseiidae) is a Mediterranean generalist predator used in biological control for thrips and whiteflies. This species is reported for the first time in Argentina in horticultural areas surrounding Buenos Aires city.
