Abstract

GRANARA DE WILLINK, María C.  and  DUGHETTI, Arturo C.. A new species of Pseudococcus (Hemiptera: Coccoidea: Pseudococcidae) on forage crops and soybean in Argentina and neighbouring countries. Rev. Soc. Entomol. Argent. [online]. 2012, vol.71, n.1-2, pp.29-36. ISSN 0373-5680.

A new species of mealybug is described and illustrated; Pseudococcus pabulum Granara de Willink n.sp., found on roots of Medicago sativa, Trifolium pratense, T. repens, Glycine max and Lotus corniculatus, in Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay. A key to separate Pseudococcus Westwood species affecting forage crops is included.
