Abstract

AMUN, Cristian; CLAPS, Lucía E.  and  SARACHO BOTTERO, M. Andrea. First record of Aulacaspis tubercularis (Hemiptera: Diaspididae) from Argentina. Rev. Soc. Entomol. Argent. [online]. 2012, vol.71, n.3-4, pp.289-291. ISSN 0373-5680.

Aulacaspis tubercularis Newstead is a polyphagous pest that attacks mainly Mangifera indica. This insect species is reported for the first time in Argentina. The studied specimens were collected from mango trees in different places of NW Argentina, in January 2011 and April 2012.
