In the present paper we report for the first time the presence of Snellenius bicolor Shenefelt in Argentina and Bolivia. These records represent the southernmost occurrence of this species. Information on the distribution of the genus is also provided. Redescriptions of S. bicolor and S. tricolor Shenefelt were made based on male (paratypes) and female specimens, including new information on their morphology.
