Abstract

The subfamily Newportiinae and the species Newportia (Tidops) balzanii (Silvestri, 1895) are recorded for the first time from Argentina from specimens collected in Misiones Province. This contribution increases the knowledge of the diversity of Chilopoda from Argentina.
