Abstract

LINDENBOIM, Federico. El desarrollo de la Subsecretaría de Informaciones (1943-1945). Los primeros ensayos de política mediática de Perón antes del peronismo. Bol. Inst. Hist. Argent. Am. Dr. Emilio Ravignani [online]. 2021, n.55, pp.80-103. ISSN 0524-9767.  http://dx.doi.org/https://doi.org/10.34096/bol.rav.n55.10351.

This article investigates the Subsecretaría de Informaciones and the broadcasting policy implemented by the military government during 1943-1945. Based on a diversity of documentary sources, the article describes the construction of state structures and their different modes of intervention in radio. It focuses at the Subsecretaría de Informaciones, for being an organism created by the military and because it was an area of political dispute between members of the government. In addition, from that entity, a press team organized by the Colonel Perón managed to present a media policy with some similar nuances in comparison to the actions of other militaries. We also reconstruct the different types of relationships that were built between members of the military government, radio station owners and the star system.
