This article analyzes the process of factory occupations carried out in Argentina towards the middle of 1964 and arranged by the Confederación General del Trabajo (CGT) as part of a Plan de Lucha iniciated in January of the previous year. It is investigated in the particularities of its application in Gran Rosario, one of the most important manufacturing zones of the country. Some features of the dynamics of labor disputes in the región are explored, as well as the changes produced in the local CGT and the positions assumed by the actors around the process.
