Abstract

MOLINA, Eugenia. Justice of proximity and politico-military government in the frontier: Institutional equipment of Valle de Uco (Mendoza) during the revolutionary process (1810-1820). Mundo agrar. [online]. 2014, vol.15, n.30. ISSN 1515-5994.

The work reconstructs the process of institutional equipment in the southern campaign of Mendoza during the revolutionary process. Focuses attention on the network of authorities designated in San Carlos and Valle de Uco, with the aim of showing linkages between justice of proximity, politico-military government and building legitimacy. The hypothesis is that characteristics of an area of frontier were complicated in the context of war, affecting your process of territorialization and making the solution of the distance a key strategy to govern that space.

Keywords : Justice; Proximity; Politico-military government; Frontier; Legitimacy.
