This work reflects on the impact of the River Plate revolutionary process on the aboriginal people that kept their political and territorial sovereignty in the current provinces of Chaco and La Pampa. To do so, it is essential not to limit the study to the degree of integration or conflict of these people and the patriotic armies, but to aim for a broader analysis that begins by characterizing the previous interethnical bonds in order to perceive the most general changes and continuities that could have taken place.
