We describe and analyze the way in which the events produced by the covid-19 pandemic catalyzed long-term agrarian social processes, for this we pay attention to the relationships between the emergent and the structural aspects. We take the case of a floricultural cooperative from La Plata (Buenos Aires, Argentina) and recognize changes in: agrarian social structure, social base and organizational cultures. The conclusión is that the consequences of the novel situation, such as the closure of the commercialization market, have had different responses due to pre-existing social mutations. This article is based on a qualitative approach center in-depth interviews and analysis of documentary sources.
