This article develops a contextual and comprehensive overview on the school of popular sectors from the critical pedagogy perspective, assumed as an ethical-political project of formation in conditions of exclusion, manifolds violences and conflicts. The article is developed in three sections: in the first, the school is analyzed contextually in terms of its demands and functions, in the second the net of the conflicts in the school is characterized and finally, the textures of the coexistence in relation to the construction of scholar links is presented
