Abstract

ENRIZ, Noelia. Game concept and practice ordering elusive. Espac. blanco, Ser. indagaciones [online]. 2014, vol.24, n.1. ISSN 1515-9485.

In this paper we try to address theoretically the formation of taxonomic proposals of the game as a mode that show greats limitations. The model that will be more widely discussed is the one of Roger Caillois. In this paper we will develop its links with the development of social science research regarding gaming. For further reflection on taxonomies, we're going to interpret them in the light of ethnographic experiences with indigenous people in the province of Misiones. We will point to the games with balls and guessing games as models of analysis. The central argument is that the proposed that focused on the purpose of playful practices do not allow to account for the diversity of situations that arise.

Keywords : playful practice; taxonomy; mbyá Guarani.
