Abstract

GOMEZ, Sebastián. The route of the Revista de Ciencias de la Educación (1970-1975) and the introduction of the Gramscian concept of hegemony. Espac. blanco, Ser. indagaciones [online]. 2017, vol.27, n.2, pp.113-128. ISSN 1515-9485.

The article discusses the route of the Revista de Ciencias de la Educación (RCE, 1970-1975) which remained traversed by a double process: cultural modernization and political radicalization. This contradictory process signed two stages. In his latest double issue, the publication appealed to the Gramscian concept of hegemony to reflect on the phenomenon of education      through a pioneering article pedagogue Sara Morgenstern. This contribution was in line with the project and the political and theoretical tensions of the RCE, used the notion of hegemony in distance and time, joint with the Althusserian perspective. From a qualitative approach, the plot of the RCE is reconstructed, then make out the meaning of the use of Gramsci in its closure. The data collected are analyzed under the precept that in the investigation of receipt of authors / as in cultural magazines is crucial to understand its forms and historical conditions of possibility.
