Abstract

ESPINOZA, Ana María  and  CASAMAJOR, Adriana. Read to learn Natural Sciences: A stage full of images, believes and ocurrences.. Espac. blanco, Ser. indagaciones [online]. 2018, vol.28, n.2, pp.33-48. ISSN 1515-9485.

For over 15 years we have been developing a didactic research to study the conditions that con- tribute to the learning of Natural Sciences through reading and writing. We argue that suggesting reading in the context of a teaching sequence which enables the problematization of the central ideas developed in a text helps to install a purpose to read if only, at the same time, the classroom is conceived as a space for the exchange of inter- pretations made by students. The proposal requires to suspend temporarily the authority of val-idated knowledge -the authority of the text- and enables students to question what is written and how they are understating it.

Keywords : didactic research; didactic condi- tions; problematization of contents; reading; teaching sequence..
