Abstract

COLLET-SABE, Jordi. Qué es el territorio para la escuela: ¿decorado, recurso o agente? Modelos e implicaciones de diversas políticas de relación entre escuela y territorio en Cataluña (España). Espac. blanco, Ser. indagaciones [online]. 2020, vol.30, n.2, pp.81-90.  Epub Dec 01, 2020. ISSN 1515-9485.

The paper proposes three ideal models of territory from the school perspective: a) as a simple scenery you can change for anyone else (fortress school); b) as a resource with which schools generate some educative and social interactions (new school); c) as an agentwith whom school can coproduce, for exam-ple, a unique model of school architecture, school dynamic or family - school relationship (extitution school). Using the Foucauldian analysis model that intertwines power, knowledge and subjectivity, the paper analyses the links between school and territory in Catalonia (Spain) and its consequences. It ends up proposing some debates about how could be create other education policies and other schools that can produce freer and more critical subjects.

Keywords : territory; school; education policy; family - school relationship; Foucault.
