This article presents an analysis of the internship system in the automotive sector of the city of Córdoba. The purpose is to give an account of the appraisement that businessmen build around the training of students of the Specialty in Automotive of technical schools; based on the knowledge that is put into play in the workspaces provided by the company. From a case study, based on obtaining primary data (interviews with HR Managers and Workshop Managers), analysis of secondary data (regulations and institutional documents) and direct observation; it was possible to identify that the internship constitutes a space of joint regulation between the company and the school, which allows not only to validate the knowledge of the students but also to become an indicator for the revision of public policies in the sector.
