The article revisit the issue of the recurrent reforms at secondary school in Argentina. The main focus is the way these reforms have impacted on secondary school in Buenos Aires City between 1968 and 2018. Unlike other similar studies, this one emphasises on teaching practices. How much do school classes have really changed? How much of the requirements in the reform´s norm achieve the level of teaching practices? For developing this article, two recent researches have been considered. Both projects are qualitative researches focused on testimonies of teachers and alumni graduates of secondary schools in the periods mentioned before.
