The request and giving of care find from the phenomenological perspective the possibility of description of his ontological structure and of his practice ontic structure in the lifeworld. Benner propose four fundamental characteristics about this structure: situatedness, embodiment, finitude and thrownness. Touch and intersubjectivity plays a relevant role in the development of each of these concepts. Merleau-Ponty has provided valuable tools in different moments and passages of his work in relation with this concepts and his development. In this article we introduce a possible touch behavior’s structure from the concepts that the french author present in his first work, the relevance of a phenomenology of touch –from a description of double sensations to the touch gestures of care (hold, hug, caress, etc.)– to clarify de phenomenon of care, and, finally, we introduce de idea of “care atmospheres” from a merlaupontinian perspective as a contribution for the description of the phenomenon of care’s structure. It ends with the introduction of the possibility of dialogue and continuities with others fields and research lines.
