LAZARTE, José E. Pablo Groeber and the possibilities of a theoretic tectonic: orogenic explanations for a refinement of the geosynclines theory. Ser. correl. geol. [online]. 2008, n.24, pp.195-206. ISSN 1666-9479.

On the basis of a Pablo Groeber's paper, "Essay on theoretic tectonic and magmatic provinces", from 1927, 30th bulletin of the Academia Nacional de Ciencias, initial theoretic geologic studies are discussed. Clear contributions about the geosyncline theory are emphasized. Conspicuous elements deals with theoretic change in Geology are brought out, while geosyncline paradigm was the dominant one.
