Resumen
PIDAL, G et al. Characterization of hepatic venous vasculature through doppler ultrasonography in healthy beagle dogs. InVet [online]. 2013, vol.15, n.1, pp.57-64. ISSN 1668-3498.
The authors described the ultranosographic approach of hepatic veins, portal veins and caudal vena cava. The main features of the vessels were detailed using B-mode and Doppler (spectral and colour) ultrasonographic technique. The mean velocity values were taken from 11 healthy beagle dogs and descriptive statistical analysis was made. The mean values expressed in cm/seg were: VP (Portal Vein) 20,26±2,84; VPI (Left Portal Vein) 21,46±6,20; VPLI (Left Lateral Portal Vein) 15,81±3,33; VPMI (Left Medial Portal Vein) 17,18±5,46; VPQ (Quadrate Portal Vein) 13,30±4,19; VPD (Right Portal Vein) 18,67±4,77; VPMD (Right Medial Portal Vein) 20,03±4,3; VPLD (Right Lateral Portal Vein) 15,23±4,72; VPC (Caudate Portal Vein) 17,08 (only one value); VHI (Left Hepatic Vein) 27,67±7,31; VHLI (Left Lateral Hepatic Vein) 24,92±2,83; VHMI (Left Medial Hepatic Vein) 23,74±4,72; VHQ (Quadrate Hepatic Vein) 16,73±5,20; VHMD (Right Medial Hepatic Vein) 20,89±5,11; VHLD (Right Lateral Hepatic Vein) 15,91±6,0; VHC (Quadrate Hepatic Vein) 20,33±3,63; VCpos (post-kidney Cava Vena) 26,64±5,62; VCCren (kidney Cava Vena) 39,95±10,6; VCCpre (pre-kidney Cava Vena) 52,83±13,36.
