In the present article we reconstruct the marriage tendencies of two families in the Rio de la Plata's elite between 1776 and 1810. We want to analyse the strategies followed by them and their random  consequences. From a micro-analytical perspective and starting from the social network notion, we try to explain the social rules in a society with different superposed rule contexts that include the State Policy. In this society the agents can manipulate rules and make decisions  creating situations of  great uncertainty.
