Abstract

ACRECHE, Noemí  and  ALBEZA, María Virginia. Genes, populations, enviroments and nations. Andes [online]. 2010, vol.21, n.1. ISSN 1668-8090.

The genetic structure in 32 populations of Argentina, Bolivia and Paraguay was studied with blood groups frequencies (ABO, MN, Ss, DI, P, Cc, Dd y Ee). Bolivia, Paraguay and Chaco Argentino data were obtained from bibliography. Population relationships and different association criteria were evaluated with discriminant analysis. The percentage of correct classified cases is considered the measure of the relationship between variables and association criteria. Environmental and linguistic categories show more relationship with genetic structure than national frontiers, producing reproductive isolation between populations
