Manuel Sarratea is the first federal governor in Buenos Aires. This work examines the model of federalism that he intends to establish, what the opposition sector argues about, how the rethoric of a government of principles functions - rethoric that is evident both in the role of the first provincial political figure and the columns of the official newspaper- and what the role the sudden alliance changes has.
