Abstract

After an intensive ethnographic work with Otomi healing groups inhabiting metropolitan areas of central Mexico, we present a description and interpretation of their ritual practices to heal individuals and offer ceremonies to the gods in hills and springs. Fire and water have the qualities of hot and cold, wet and dry, life and death
