Abstract

GONZA, Héctor Guillermo  and  GUERCI DE SIUFI, Beatriz. Rationality and reasonability in communication. Cuad. Fac. Humanid. Cienc. Soc., Univ. Nac. Jujuy [online]. 2000, n.15, pp.195-199. ISSN 1668-8104.

We propose the necessity to concepts such as "reason", rationality and reasonability, in order to clarify the consequences, that in the communicative discourse has its marked polisemy. That's why these terms are projected from the etymological meaning designing a course that goes through reason as a universal paradigm of the human thought, to develop a new concept: "reasonable reason". The postmodern tribes made an effort to present the deconstruction as (destotalizador) strategy, inserting the axiologic tendencies trying to consolidate the irrational as an alternative answer to the modern mandates. In this way the reading of the world are structured in formally valid discourse, but that due to its superficiality or its false character, do not refer the ontologic density of a reality that remains immutable. Looking at the communicative forms in our context we transpose the rational categories and we try to identify its reasonability.
