Abstract

SIMESEN DE BIELKE, Ana Silvia. Rationality, reasonability, responsability ...and then, what?. Cuad. Fac. Humanid. Cienc. Soc., Univ. Nac. Jujuy [online]. 2000, n.15, pp.201-208. ISSN 1668-8104.

Our philosophilocal reason has run a long way along its history. In this work we try to show the complicity of a certain kind of instrumental rationality with the globalized neocapitalist system; system that, among its ill-fated consequences, has led to the worst crisis in civilization, since it has put itself in danger: the ecological problem. We also try to make an outline of the extent to which philosophy has dealt with this subject, and to adopt a genealogist methodological position that may be useful for disassembling those discourses that have legitimated the situation we present.
