Abstract

CARRIQUE, Amalia. Interactive t.v.: let's play, but cheating. Cuad. Fac. Humanid. Cienc. Soc., Univ. Nac. Jujuy [online]. 2000, n.15, pp.417-421. ISSN 1668-8104.

This work intends to show the limitations the T.V. programs called "interactive" have in order to interact. By means of a semiotic analysis of de Brazilian T.V. program Você decide transmitted by O Globo , we come to the conclusion that, by using some enunciative strategies - both audio-visual and linguistic - a kind of consensus is generated on values legitimized by power relationships. From this it can be deduced that interactive programs are only reactive, or mere participative programs, the possibility of a really productive reading being thus denied.
