Abstract

BUSQUETS, Maria Laura. Tradition and rupture in Ramón A. Perez narrative. Cuad. Fac. Humanid. Cienc. Soc., Univ. Nac. Jujuy [online]. 2001, n.16, pp.41-46. ISSN 1668-8104.

Since 1960, the inner country literature has progressively changed. The aesthetics of costums has surpassed the regionalism of picturesque descriptions to introduce too late the question of language characteristic of vanguard literature. This change has gradually appeared in brief narrativa of Tucumán. According to the analysis of strategies of discourse and circunstances of production, I'll try to demonstrate (that is the objective of this little essay) that Ramón A. Pérez narrative is in a transition stage, due to the following reasons: In one hand and because of his pessimist world-vision, this writer has given up the pintoresque tradition in favour of existencial topics. He has obssessively interested in the problems of being human, specially lonelinnes and incommunication. In the other, little by little, his writing has turned about itself -that is "auto-conscious"-, as a result of a distressing reality, but it has not became absolutely metadiscursive and critical (characteristics belonging to Latinamerican post- boom Vanguard).
