Abstract

Since the subject of the enunciation registers in the language and that this one, as soon as social institution, can be index of property of the hablante to a certain historical community, the present work undertakes the study of the attitude before the maternal language in resident bilingual Bolivians of quechua and Spanish in the capital city of the province of Jujuy, border with the Republic of Bolivia. Corpus of analysis obtained by techniques of participant observation and recorded interviews to hablantes Bolivians of quechua and Spanish that reside in a capital district. The detection and later classification of the lingüísticas attitudes of our informants took place by application of the sociolingüística methodology and multiple componencial structure (component cognitivo, affective and conductual). The reached results offer three types to us of attitudes: Positive (majority), Refusal and of Insecurity (in decreasing order), generally associated the ethnic group, like identitario characteristic. The conclusions of the work open to a space to the reflection about the use of the bilingualism situation quechua-Spanish between resident Bolivians in Jujuy.
