Abstract

RODRIGUEZ, Susana A.C.. Cultural hybridization in Juan Ahuerma Salazar's narrative production. Cuad. Fac. Humanid. Cienc. Soc., Univ. Nac. Jujuy [online]. 2001, n.16, pp.133-138. ISSN 1668-8104.

This paper is part of a research on the writing of Salta in the 90's. Juan Ahuerma Salazar's narrative production was contrasted with the canonical literature of this province. His production was approached from two theories belonging to different fields: the cultural theory of García Canclini, and Angenot/Robin's theory of the social discourses and their textualisation. The analysis of the procedures this narrative uses has permitted to confirm the hypothesis of its discourse hybridization and its breaking from the dominant realistic canon in the written narrative of Salta. As conclusion it can be said that there is a change of paradigm in the region coexisting with the demythification of the historical discourse in the national an Latinamerican literature.
