This article deals with the symbolic construction that the group of korean immigrants settled in Argentina carries out, in its different ways of connection with the receptive context. These ways are expressed in categories such as "adaptation" "argentinization" and "integration". These ones form with different components (language, work, friendship, nationality) that connect different conceptual spaces emphasizing identity problem. From the methodological point of view this paper follows the discourse analysis lines as well as cognitive semiotics finding affinity with notions such as blending "mental spaces and mixed spaces" (G. Faucaunier, 1994; G. Faucaunier and Turner, 1998) and dynamic unity (N. Mandelblit an O. Zachar, 1998), proposed by the contemporary, cognitive sciences.
